Tiffen 46mm Warm Low Light Polarizer

I mostly shoot old manual-focus glass, and this filter’s 1-stop polarizer cuts window glare without killing the little light I have. The 812 warming layer adds a cozy amber cast to skin tones that I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this much. It’s become a permanent fixture on my 50mm.

The warming effect on this filter saved my sunset shots, keeping the sky rich instead of washing it out with a cold polarizer. It only eats about a stop of light, so I could still handhold at dusk without fighting my settings.

I was worried a polarizer would darken my manual focus shots too much, but the built‑in 1‑stop warming filter actually gives a nice pop to colors without losing the ambient light. Glare on glass and water disappeared instantly.
