Tiffen 52mm UV16 Lens Filter

The UV filter cuts out that harsh blue cast in outdoor shots, making my landscapes look much more natural. I feel a lot better knowing my expensive lens is protected from scratches and dust with this on.

Bought this mainly so my front element stops getting scratched, and the glass feels solid enough that I'm not babying the lens anymore. Shooting outdoors at midday, the blue cast in my skies is noticeably toned down without killing the warmth. Cheap insurance for a lens that cost way more.

Slapped this on my 52mm lens before a beach trip and the blues in the sky look noticeably less washed out now. It screws on smoothly and stays put, plus I don't stress about sand scratching the front element anymore.
