Tiffen 55mm UV17 Lens Filter

Was looking for something that would cut the UV without going too dark, and this filter sits perfectly between old haze filters and clear glass. It's slim enough to stack with a polarizer without vignetting on my wide lens, and the glass stays clean with minimal wiping required.

Noticed way less haze in my shots taken near the coast, and the UV cut is subtle enough that colors still look natural. The glass feels solid and the coating has held up fine against dust on my walks.

Kept this on my 55mm lens for a week of hiking and it shrugged off dust and fingerprints that used to drive me nuts. The UV absorption is a touch gentler than the 2A version, which honestly suits my daylight shots better. Zero complaints so far.
