Tiffen Circular Polarizer Filter

Polarizers provide color and contrast enhancement. Reflected light often shows up as whitish glare that washes out color in an image. A Polarizer corrects this problem producing deep, dramatically blue skies. It also removes glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as windows and water. Color saturation in general, especially outdoors, can be improved significantly.

Adam ★★★★★

I've been using the UV filter as a permanent lens protector and swapping in the polarizer when I shoot through car windows—the glare reduction is immediate and obvious. Both filters screw on smoothly without any vignetting on my wide lens.

Miles ★★★★★

The UV filter has basically been glued to my lens since day one — great insurance for hiking trips where I'm constantly bumping into branches. The polarizer made a huge difference on water shots at the lake, cutting the glare so you can actually see below the surface.

Harper ★★★★★

I used the circular polarizer on a sunny beach trip and the glare off the water vanished — the sky turned a rich, deep blue I couldn't capture before. The UV filter is a nice bonus for everyday lens protection.
